Emergency Services Show
We have a stand booked at the Emergency Services Show on Sunday 8th September at Hullavington Airfield, just off junction 17 of the M4.

This is a great opportunity to promote the group and RoADAR to the general public.  Having attended this show in previous years, we can also say that it is a very enjoyable day out. However, we cannot attend these events without support from group members as we need help manning the stand.

If you can spare a couple of hours during the day please contact Monica.  Free passes will be arranged for those who offer help in advance!

First Aid Course
We are considering running another First Aid course in the near future. If you would be interested in attending this please let Monica know. The exact format and training provider has yet to be finalised but expect a full day's training using the facilities at Liddington. It will be based around the needs of road users or motorcyclists (depending on the wishes of those who register their interest).

The committee have agreed that the group will subsidise the cost of this course, so expect the cost to members to be around £35.  (It would be much more than that to attend a similar course otherwise.)

For those who attended the course we ran last time, remember that your certificate will expire next year!

Committee
We are still looking for more members to join the Committee.  If you would be willing to attend our monthly Committee meeting and help inject some fresh ideas please contact Monica.

Easter 2014 Motorcycle Tour
The motorcycle section is gauging interest for an Easter 2014 tour.  Routes, destinations and accommodation are yet to be determined.  The initial idea is to arrive at the accommodation on Good Friday (April 18th) with ride-outs on Saturday & Sunday, then return on Easter Monday (April 21st). Take as many days as you like riding there and back!

The first suggestion was Scotland but that may change, particularly as the weather at Easter can be a tad chilly (those who went to the Peaks will know)!  So we are open to other suggestions.

If you would like to join in please email rideouts@wiltshireroadar.co.uk or post on the forum thread http://wiltshireroadar.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=326
